Savoyard Scores is committed to providing scores of the best possible quality. As a result, the scores will get updated periodically with corrections and/or revisions. To help keep track of these updates, every Savoyard Score has a version number at the bottom of each page. Versions are three numbers, separated by dots — for example:
“Version 2.3.1”
The right-hand number increases whenever basic corrections are made, such as changing a note or repositioning dynamics.
The center number increases when a revision affects multiple pages, such as going from using repeat bars to writing the repeat out in full.
The left-hand number increases only when a revision affects the entire score, such as changing the font of the text or upgrading the format of the music files.
Whenever a number changes, all numbers to the right of it reset to “0”.
Whenever two or more versions of a Savoyard Score are in disagreement, the latest version is to be considered correct.
